Corporate design for the Emscherkunst exhibition
Art always wants to tell us something or nothing. Some artists have a relatively clear meaning, some may want to not be understood or the works can have a dual meaning. All in all, art has a very cryptic language. Which is why the Emscherkunst 2016 used the Morse code. Thanks to the conception of this type of communication, there is a vast playroom in which the signs can for example be switched out by pieces of nature or where the signs reach out on the entire page.
The creation of this concept designed by KoeperHerfurth won the German Design Award 2017.
